Cara minum suplemen herbal
Cara seseorang mengonsumsi suplemen herbal tergantung dari bentuknya. Mereka tersedia sebagai tablet, kapsul, teh, bubuk, ekstrak, dan tanaman segar atau kering.
Seseorang dapat mengonsumsi suplemen herbal dengan cara:
menelannya sebagai pil, bubuk, atau tincture
mengoleskannya ke kulit sebagai gel dan losion
menambahkannya ke air mandi
meminumnya sebagai teh
Dosis untuk beberapa suplemen herbal mungkin sulit untuk dilakukan dengan benar. Banyak faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas suplemen herbal, antara lain kondisi tumbuh, umur, dan persiapan tanaman.
Akibatnya, tidak ada cara standar untuk memberikan dosis yang tepat. Jika seseorang mempertimbangkan untuk mengonsumsi suplemen herbal, mereka harus menghindari resep sendiri dan mendiskusikannya terlebih dahulu dengan dokter.
Dokter akan bertanya tentang kondisi kesehatan seseorang dan menentukan dosis terbaik untuk efek farmakologis yang diinginkan.
