Administrasi Pendidikan: Makna, Sifat dan Detail Lainnya
Administrasi Pendidikan dianggap sebagai proses mengintegrasikan sumber daya manusia dan materi yang sesuai yang tersedia dan dibuat efektif untuk mencapai tujuan program lembaga pendidikan.
Istilah "Administrasi" tidak mengacu pada satu proses atau tindakan apa pun. Ini seperti payung luas yang mencakup sejumlah proses seperti: perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, koordinasi, pengendalian dan evaluasi kinerja. Situasi yang sama terjadi di bidang administrasi pendidikan. Konsep administrasi pendidikan dapat diterapkan jika suatu organisasi pendidikan memiliki maksud atau tujuan tertentu yang ingin dicapai.
Untuk mencapai maksud atau tujuan tersebut, kepala organisasi pendidikan merencanakan dengan matang berbagai program dan kegiatan. Di sini organisasi pendidikan dapat berupa sekolah, perguruan tinggi atau universitas. Kepala sekolah/perguruan tinggi/universitas menyelenggarakan program dan kegiatan ini dengan kerjasama dari guru lain, orang tua dan siswa. Dia memotivasi mereka dan mengkoordinasikan upaya guru serta mengarahkan dan melakukan kontrol atas mereka. Dia mengevaluasi kinerja dan kemajuan mereka dalam mencapai tujuan program.
Tukang Ketik - Dia memberikan umpan balik kepada mereka dan membawa modifikasi, jika diperlukan dalam rencana dan program sekolah atau perguruan tinggi atau universitas. Jadi totalitas proses tersebut yang diarahkan untuk mewujudkan atau mencapai maksud atau tujuan sekolah/perguruan tinggi/universitas disebut administrasi pendidikan.
Administrasi pendidikan tidak mengacu pada proses tunggal, melainkan proses atau aspek yang berbeda merupakan administrasi. Yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, koordinasi dan evaluasi.
