Abstract

The research aims to find out the effect of special exercises by means of assisting in the
development of the spin and achievement stage in a 100m freestyle for swimmers and the extent
of its impact on the performance time from the distance of (5m) meters before the spin and until
the swimmer reaches the distance of (10m) after spin. For the purpose of achieving the research
goal, (16) swimmers with ages (15-16) years were randomly chosen, and they were divided into
two groups, the first experimental (8) swimmers as an experimental group, and the second (8)
swimmers as a control group. Both groups have implemented the paragraphs of the program
prepared by their trainer in all its details, except that the experimental group carried out the
exercises prepared by the researcher within the vocabulary of the educational unit, and the
control group used the traditional curriculum prepared by the trainer and at the same time
allocated to rotation exercises. The duration of the research, which lasted for 12 weeks by three
training units per week, and the results achieved were statistically analyzed for both groups,
where the researcher found that the swimming time of 100 m had developed in both groups, but
the experimental group was the best when traveling the five-meter distance T the last five yearsand the distance is legally permitted, so the researcher recommends giving importance in the
special training phase rotation because of its impact on the achievement of the level of
achievement in the 100-meter freestyle swimming.
