Tone Your Tummy
by Sylvie Pinley (2020-08-07)
Eat breakfast. Eating breakfast is a must Tone Your Tummy if you're looking to lose weight and burn calories. Make sure you eat something that will hold you over, and not something that will make you feel hungry in an hour. Oatmeal is a good choice as are whole grains because your body will take longer to digest these types of carbohydrates. A half a bagel is not a good decision because you'll soon be reaching for those doughnuts in the conference room come the 9am meeting.Eat protein. It's absolutely true that when you ingest protein, your body has to work harder to break it down. Your body works less when digesting carbohydrates and fats. So, to burn even more calories throughout the day sneak in some protein: chicken on top of your salad, a quick protein shake, or even a small low fat yogurt as a snack.Take a fish or krill oil supplement. Recent studies have come out saying that individuals who take a fish oil supplement regularly burn more fat and calories then those who don't. Remember, this is the right type of fat to ingest. If you eat fish a few times a week, you probably don't need to take a supplement, but if you do take one, make sure you select a good, reputable brand. Some companies rob you of vital nutrients. Slow your meal down. Today, people are very busy, and unfortunately when we eat, our meal gets rushed. Sometimes we eat so fast we don't realize we're already full. Then you have to deal with the bloating, gas and discomfort. Meal time should be a time to relax. You should fuel your body properly. Put your fork down between bites of food and slowly chew your food in your mouth. By eating this way, chances are good that you'll have food left over on your plate to eat later. It's important to remember that if you make a fist with your hand, it's roughly equivalent to one full serving/portion size for your body. And if you're rushing through your meal, you're probably eating way more then that.
How does Tone Your Tummy Works?
